I don't like talking about me.
Benjamin Goodney is not a witch, as far as you know. He is an idiolect. A word-farm. He believes that Word and Object and The Order of Things and Ghost Machine all share a title. His work approaches mythopoesis, metonymy, nature, body, queerness, and bitter sarcasm with equal pickling spice.
You can read him in Best New Poets 2016, Hotel Amerika, Guernica, Confrontation, The Seneca Review, and elsewhere. He co-founded the literary magazine Storm Cellar in 2010 and is currently managing, design, and communications editors. His white-label editing service is Bang! Super Great (!SG). He was born in a small town in Minnesota, stole two degrees in philosophy from Illinois, was scorched in Florida and Georgia, and resides in St. Paul near a burdock-pocked verge where grackles hunt rabbit kits. |
